The
Storm that swept the world
It was in 1937 that Matheson Bosanquet brewed a storm. It
began exporting tea. And mornings across the world were never
the same again.
Along the slopes of the Blue Mountains in Nilgiris, the export
division prepares the most exotic blends of tea - both orthodox
and CTC. These special blends have, over the last 60 years,
found favour with discerning buyers in Japan, the UK and Europe.
And found their way into tea cups all over the globe. Apart
from our own production, the trading and export division handles
well over 6 million kgs of tea every year.Buyer's is Japan,
UK, Europe, Africa, CIS, Middle East and Sri Lanka. |

But
naturally. At MB Exports, our team's obssessive attention
to detail, the automatic blending machines, the quality control
systems and the extremely hygienic environment ensure that
the cup that cheers is among the best in the world.
Apart
from tea, we trade in and export coffee, pepper and other
spices to the Gulf, Europe and the CIS Republic.
To
expand our portfolio of exports, we have also commenced exporting
explosive accessories from our unit in Hosur. The Far East
is the first market to be tapped.

Proving
once again that the export division has come a long way from
the tea gardens of the Blue Mountains. |
